I like the natural glow and shimmer in candle mode and how they are random and out of sync with each other. Unfortunately, after a few test runs around the room, the switches on the console stopped working (the rest of the switches worked fine). The main reason I chose these candles was to place them in outdoor pendant lights. Going to each lantern, opening them and turning each candle on and off would be a hassle and would ruin my entire garden ambiance plan. Luckily we have a few cheap replacement remotes that came with various light sources that work with these candles. I will keep the remote control that came with these candles for the dimmer, timer and mode change. These buttons appear to be working, at least for now.
