Review on 🔬 EISCO Resolution Quantitative Spectroscope 400 700: Enhancing Spectral Analysis Accuracy by Gary Stringfield

Nice easy way to look at light frequencies

I got this for my son's science project to see how the color of light affects plant growth. I can't comment on the quantitative accuracy of this spectroscope, but it works great for a fourth grade science fair project. This helps him understand that the light he sees can be made up of many different colors of light, depending on the source. He thinks it's really cool and has used it to test different lightbulbs around the house. The build quality is satisfactory - it's plastic. But for the price it's ok. The scale is easy to read, but it takes some getting used to learning how to align the spectroscope to get the correct reading. Once you understand that, it works great.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No work
