Although the speaker is mostly plastic, it looks nice if you don't look closely. The sound quality is good, even better than expected. The battery life is not bad, I charged it in about a day after using it for several hours every day. My only real issue with this speaker is the LED backlight and the display is too bright at night. If a switch was added to turn off all the lights at night it would make a better bedside speaker/clock. I think some people like the light as a night light. Two alarms come in handy if you have trouble waking up or want to set an alarm for different times of the day. I found them easy to set up and as long as the battery doesn't die the alarm settings should remain. The color of this speaker is called "yellow", but probably the best way to describe it is "natural". It just looks like natural light wood and I wouldn't call it yellow like a banana. All in all this is a good speaker. It connects easily, works well, and has some neat features you don't see on most Bluetooth speakers, but I wish the display could be turned off. The sound is decent and I like that it uses a USB-C cable. The adapter is not included, but you can use almost any phone or USB charger to keep it charged. A good speaker for the price and apart from being mostly plastic it's of decent quality.
