This air conditioner cools great, has useful features but I had some installation issues. The included set of window brackets and foam gaskets were not enough to complete the installation. I have a "vertically sliding window" and encountered the following problems: * I had to cut a few inches off the inner panel to prevent it from covering the outer panel opening and interfering with the "window mount plate adapter". * The window bracket kit was too thick (1-5/16") on one side to fit the 7/8" window slot. I had to add the foam seals included in the kit. * The foam grommets included in the kit were not long enough to extend the full length of the vertical window opening. I had to buy extra foam gaskets from the hardware store. * The fan is behaving unexpectedly as confirmed by one of your support representatives. Your support rep and I expected the fan to keep running after the device reached the set temperature. Instead, both the fan and the compressor shut down like a central air conditioner would. I bought two identical models and both behave the same. I have a third unit from a different Honeywell model and the fan keeps running after the compressor on that model has stopped. I've also seen inquiries from other customers regarding fan behavior for this model, so I suspect this is either a design feature or a design flaw specific to this model. * I was surprised to learn that "Voice Control" is not supported. on iPhone and iPad.
