Just bought this for myself for Christmas so haven't had a chance to take it on a hike yet (too cold) but it does is more than meets my expectations so far. It's surprisingly light at just 1.7 pounds and literally takes me about 30 seconds to put together. You pull the legs until they turn into a square, then push the top two bars into place. You then untangle the stretchy plastic tabletop and snap it into place. invaluable convenience in cooking and eating. You definitely can't sit on it, but it was more than stable enough to hold my stove top and all my utensils. I also plan to use it for an open air cinema in the park in the summer. Can't wait to use it when I go camping in a few months!
