Broken on/off switch 6 months ago

Well I bought it about 6 months ago and now the on/off switch is broken. It has been hanging on my wall since the day I received it. I've never touched the switch, but now I have to put something in the switch because it's constantly alternating between on and off. I will accidentally lose power then it will come back then turn off again. Pretty disappointing.
