I personally prefer mink, having tried AWJ pads and mink. I find AWJs stick to my baby's bottom when wet and take a little longer to dry to the touch. But I am, I know there are a lot of stuff moms who love AWJ. These diapers are sewn very well, the fasteners are good, none came undone and they fit the baby well even on the highest settings. At the lowest settings, the insert kind of jumps out front no matter how much I adjust. Now absorbency; The lid is pretty good and really prevents leaks. The problem is that these nappies are slightly larger than other pocket nappies and the included microfiber pad doesn't really fill the entire space between my legs, which in my case causes leakage between my legs when using just one pad, regardless of the material. . Therefore, I have to use these diapers at night, which are filled with bamboo + microfiber or hemp + microfiber or other combination to fill the space completely, and the elastic directly touches the liners so there are no leaks. I think these are decent pocket diapers. For this price, and the nested insert is thick, not cheap, thin, 2 layers, I think there are 5-6 layers in the kit. I would definitely not use these diapers with a newborn as you can adjust them very small to be honest the fit is terrible and looks very chunky when the pad is folded.
