The DMC-ZS50 has two cables, one for charging and one for transferring images to the computer's USB port. The cable sold here is a charging cable. The image transfer cable appears to be proprietary although you can find it on ebay. However, it is even easier to simply remove the memory card from the camera and read it directly into your computer without any additional cables. The cable is great for charging, I deduct two stars because of the misleading description.
