Review on AmazonBasics Monitor Stand Computer Walnut by Emily Johnson

I needed something to cover my laptop keyboard during breaks so my cat can't type. My boy considers himself my helper and dutifully "protects" the keyboard by sitting on it so no one else can access my top secret work (elementary school lesson plans) when I go to change underwear or otherwise deal with avoidance work too busy. This stand mounts perfectly over the keyboard so it can still guard my work but not add my own posts. The stand is high enough to cover a keyboard on a desk and a cooling pad on a bed, but not high enough for a cat to reach the keyboard. I think it's a 17 inch laptop and the stand is wide enough to cover the entire keyboard. When I'm ready again, the stand is light enough to just move it out of the way. very happy with this decision. It can still protect my work, but I don't have to worry about it deleting anything. I'm sure the monitor will work fine too, but I didn't buy it for that purpose.
