Dealing with an upstairs ceiling fan that has been inactive for almost 2 years. I didn't want to try to figure out what was wrong with it as I'm not an electrician. However, when I stumbled across this, I decided to give it a try. Actually it wasn't that bad when installing it since the other one was connected, I just copied the same schematic and pasted it in the old place. I was shocked when I turned the switch back on, hit the high speed button and my fan came on! I've wanted a fan in my bedroom for so long. It's definitely worth the money and way better than buying a new ceiling fan!
