That's amazing Press the power button to turn it on: BEEP Turn the knob to increase fan speed: BEEP Turn the knob to decrease fan speed: BEEP! is accompanied by a loud, unbearable BEEP! Why? WHY!? Only me. the? In what universe does that make any sense!? This is a fan. I need it to do ONE THING: BLOW OUT WITH AIR and do it SILENTLY. I don't want - under any circumstances - to hear ANY sound from this thing other than the faint hum of air gently gliding over the fan blades. What a waste of my time and effort. Now I have to deal with the return of this thing because some crazy person decided it would be nice to make this thing SOUND (oh, and there's no way to turn it off - I've looked everywhere). abominable. Just awful.
