It was a nice idea, but that wasn't what I had in mind when I bought it. It's literally the material used for computer mouse pads, just not as durable. I laughed at how tiny and flimsy it was when I opened the box and figured my little joke would still be relevant and I could put it on a brick tier...bad idea. It absorbs a lot of water that it comes into contact with, rolls off with the slightest movement and is therefore difficult to clean. The fibers and pellets in the photo are the result of a week of sitting outside my daughter's bedroom and the dampness is from sitting on the front entry steps during the day. Now it's a cat toy. 😂 So, like a mouse pad, here we go. As a humorous wall hanging, of course. However, don't expect to use this on your entry step if you have some level of foot traffic or humidity outside. Pay a little more for a real carpet.
