As other reviewers have noted, the fabric is incredibly soft and lightweight. I buy these shorts to sleep in and I usually choose a medium to large size for extra comfort. The only thing I noticed that differs from other similar shorts I've purchased is that the length is slightly longer than the regular plus size. I'm 5'11" and usually get a big kick in the middle of my knee. They actually go about 2 inches below my knee. Since I only wear them to hop into bed or roll around around the house, I really do never mind but maybe it could be a deal breaker if you plan on wearing them outdoors. But the length is perfect for tall ones if you are 6ft 2" or taller. I'm deducting 1 star because my only real gripe is that the side pockets are so small that they're completely unusable - a standard-sized smartphone only fits halfway in, and even then it stretches the fabric, so they're not very practical for carrying anything other than a bunch of keys when you intend to wear them to the gym or for a run.But then again, they're ridiculously soft, and that makes up for any shortcomings.
