UPDATE: after using this product for over a year, they recently changed the ingredients I guess because now it has a really strange smell. I returned it and they sent me a new one but it still had the same weird smell. I went ahead and kept the second set because I really just needed shampoo, but I will no longer be ordering this product unless I am told that this smell is due to an ingredient change and that they are fixing this. I've been using this product religiously for over a year now, and by religiously I mean that I have not used any other product on my hair at all (except a frizz serum when I get out of the shower), as I read that doing so could make the product not work since it would deplete your hair of the vitamins provided by this product.I really wish I could say that I have noticed a difference, but I really haven't. I could MAYBE say that I don't lose as much hair in the shower, but that's about it. My hair has gotten a lot longer in the past year but it's hard to say that it is from the product rather than just normal growth. My hair definitely hasn't gotten any thicker though and I still have breakage at my ends (from straightening my hair, so that isn't the product's fault). I also really miss having super-yummy smelling hair when I get out of the shower, but that nice smell comes from chemicals and fragrance, so I guess that's just one of the sacrifices you have to make if you want an all natural shampoo and conditioner.I try my best to use the shampoo and conditioner sparingly since it is expensive, but it's hard since it doesn't have the chemicals that give the shampoo that clean-foamy feel, therefore you have to use more of it than you would with other products. Even using it sparingly though, I still go through an 8oz bottle of shampoo in a month and a half (literally exactly a month and a half). The 8oz bottle of conditioner lasts me a little longer, but no more than a week or two longer. I will continue to use this product until I find a better one that is completely natural like this one, but most other products that claim to be all natural still have ingredients that I have read aren't very good for your hair.
