Review on πŸ₯£ Reditainer 2 Oz Plastic Disposable Portion Souffle Cups With Lids - Package of 100 Count by Matt Spencer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

5.5 oz. The size was just what I needed!

I wanted some of these little containers for school lunches and other sundries. I've looked at a lot of reviews, but I still found it a bit difficult to give the actual size. They sell them in ounces but I have no idea what size they are. I wanted the ones that were the size of the jelly cups they sell in the store. I made an educated guess and settled on the 5.5 oz. You were great! I've attached a photo so you can see the size compared to a standard jelly cup. (Sorry about the weird ruler! Haha!) I made a box of sugar free jelly and it filled 4 of them perfectly. So 1/2 cup. They are also a good size for storing other groceries. A hard-boiled egg also goes well with this, so expect things like carrots or goldfish crackers to last about a serving. I didn't microwave mine, I don't think they are made for that purpose. So reheating nacho cheese or peas is not a good idea. I pour the jelly right in after mixing so they can handle some heat. I just put lids on them so they don't spill on the way to the fridge so they can be stacked on top of each other. blank.) My son bent the lids off his which meant they didn't fit the second time around so I had to show him how to lift it at various points to keep it from folding. I don't plan on using them all the time, but I found throwing them away every day when not needed (which was one of the reasons I bought them!) to be wasteful. However, if I fill them with paint or something really rough or sloppy, I don't have to try to wash them. I even picked up a few to keep paperclips and coins in the desk drawer. I haven't had any lids that didn't fit. However, I'm not trying to transport liquid liquids in it. They look like fast food lids. They don't slosh, but aren't really designed to carry liquids upside down.

Pros
  • 2 ounce container
Cons
  • boring packaging
