Decent motherboard and you get the feel of superior quality for the money you spend on it. But the feeling is where "premium" ends. The mainboard, like all high-end gigabyte boards, whines like crazy. This is caused by Gigabyte using vrms to power the CPU. This was also an issue with previous generation masterboards. I have this one and it whines at an uncomfortable rate. Replaced it with a Gigabyte Ultra and the problem got worse. As with all other mainboard manufacturers, the RGB software is a joke. I ended up looking through two different Gigabyte motherboards before buying the ASUS Hero, which didn't cause me any problems.
