So I doubted if it can be used outdoors as the cover is yarn but according to my grandmother she has had a synthetic yarn floor mat for 20 years and the only "problem" that she had disappears. I know it's better not to argue with my grandma, so I guess you can use it outside. I personally would keep it indoors where it wouldn't be exposed to the rain. I'll keep it inside.
