Review on ☕ Natural Unbleached #2 Cone Coffee Filters - Pack of 300 by David Richardson

I bought a pack of 300 natural paper coffee filters the same size as Melitta #2 at a cheaper price. While the filters endured pouring hot water over the ground, they imparted a bitter taste to the coffee. When just pouring hot water through the filter, the resulting water tasted and smelled like a brown paper bag. However, due to the hassle of returning it and needing PDQ filters, I experimented with pre-rinsing, pouring hot boiling water over each filter, letting them dry, and repeating the rinsing 2 more times. While this worked to remove the paper bag's bitter taste and smell, it was very, very time consuming. Next time I'll use real Melitta McCoy #2 filters.
