Left and right arrow keys to select left or right mirror for mirror lens tilt do not snap. So I used a small flathead screwdriver and removed the button on this device and the same button on my original device and found the difference. The old block had a ball bearing and spring on the end of a plastic rod, while the new block was just a solid plastic rod. The tiny ball bearing snaps into the detents and gives a reassuring "click" when selecting a right or left mirror. The new block still worked overall, except for the click. I replaced the old ball bearing knob with this new block and got the click back. I just don't like the feel of dangling select buttons. This unit also had a bulb on the 4 way button for power folding mirrors which my old one didn't have. It was solid with no light. So now I could just look at some electric mirrors.
