I bought the set in January 2020. I have enough time not to lose or break it. I'm probably not as gentle as I could be, but I've broken a few bad habits to prolong their usefulness. That is, do not wear them by the crown, neck, or baseball cap: do not hold them between your teeth to free your hands to take a child who squeezes, pushes and pulls the handle. Keep them in a case. Believe me, I have a special screwdriver on my keychain, and I start tightening them when they stop bouncing. This signals that either the screw is broken or the spring is weakened. Another odd occurrence with this set is that the lens breaks, usually at the corner of the hinge, sometimes at the edge. I've always wondered if other people have these problems as often as I do. Of course, attractiveness and price will be taken into account for my next purchase. I wonder if I should be American?
