Great alternative/replacement for Syrian hamster wheels

I first bought a standard size (6.5 inch) silent lure made from maple for my new Syrian hamster as these wheels always work for me on my Syrians have worked the past. However, once she reached her full size (I got her when she was relatively small), she stopped walking around in it as much. I wouldn't call them much taller than the average Syrian. I noticed that she arched her back a lot and sometimes preferred to ride the bike rather than indoors. I did a little research and found that the minimum wheel size recommended by the ASPCA for Syrian hamsters is 8 inches and of course no one has made good wheels of that size. I saw how big and bulky it is (it's about 14 inches tall with the stand - too big even for my trash can). However, she wasted no time in learning how this flying saucer works and almost immediately ran into it. It took her a while to learn how to walk on it without tripping over it, but she's fine now. !It's not too loud so far, although I've heard that after a while the noise is still eliminated by simply smearing it. It's as quiet as a quiet spinner (which isn't entirely quiet either); you can already hear the pounding of their feet on the surface, which you can't avoid under any circumstances. wheel/saucer you choose. Although I have heard others say that their hamsters prefer wheels and they use a saucer instead, I removed the other wheel from their cage entirely as it was too small to use. So if, like me, you're looking to use a flying saucer as an alternative to a wheel or as a replacement, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try! If you have anything other than a large rat cage or trash cage, I recommend looking at the dimensions. This product takes up a lot of floor space; It takes up a little over half of my standard-sized trash can, and there's enough room on all sides for her to walk on comfortably. Just make sure your cage is right for him! **UPDATE: After about 8 months of use, this saucer broke completely. It was great while I had it. I don't know why it broke but I decided not to buy another one. Instead, I bought a Senior Wodent Wheel.
