I would love to give these five stars, because in some ways, these are awesome. They're a little bit sheer, but not completely see through. The fabric breathes wonderfully, the gusset is stitched well (no bumpy wonky seam in the worst places like some pants) and I think if you just happen to fit the specific measurement, these will be great for you.Unfortunately the sizing is a problem, largely because they make the elastic too short for the amount of fabric. I originally bought a large, based on the seller's chart. The amount of fabric was perfect. But the elastic on the leg holes and waist was far too tight. The elastic *can* stretch to the size the chart lists, but it shouldn't, and because it's a string elastic instead of a band, it left deep red lines on my legs and waist.So I bought the extra large. I have posted photos of the two sizes next to each other, and with the large on top of the extra large. As you can see from the photos, there is a *little* bit of extra fabric in the backside which, because of the way it's constructed, helps make the leg holes a little big larger. But the waist is *exactly* the same width. The extra large also had a black tag that was 6 inches long (the large had no tags) and needs to be cut out unless you want it bothering you all day. This takes a bit of patience to cut out the black stitches so you don't accidentally cut the pants.I'm going to make these work by undoing the stitching where the bows are and attaching them to a band elastic that is the correct size. Once I've fixed them, I think I'll have a nice set of pants. But I shouldn't have to fix them.Unless the seller/maker addresses the sizing and stops being so stingy with the elastic, I can not reccomend these.
