Update - 7 months after purchase: The lead rope fell apart about a month ago. The halter is still ok. Update - 5 months later: The halter is still in good condition. Rose gold scratches in some places but not critical. The green color is the same as when you bought it. The halter was kept indoors and used a few times a week. The lead rope has become tangled in several places and is beginning to unravel where it connects to the clamp. I don't think it will be long. The lead rope has definitely not been treated and my horse does not pull on it at all when being led or tied. I don't think this rope will last long or be safe for the horse to pull on. First Review: I almost went for a bright red but I wasn't sure and couldn't find any other photos. . I bought a green cactus instead and my horse looks really cute in it. I haven't found another halter in this color and the quality is pretty good. Although I'm not a big fan of lead rope. Seems to be a little fluffy, loose weave and I don't prefer soft cotton but I will use it until it becomes uncomfortable or tear and switch to a better quality.
