We bought this blanket to fold in half to cover the part of the couch our dog is sleeping on sits. She sheds a lot and blows off her coat when she's nervous (she's always nervous). What I like: - The flat, blanket-like material makes it EASY to remove hair. We use Chom-Chom Pet Roller hair remover and can clean the material in about 2 minutes. It was much easier for us to remove hair than fluffy blankets. And the material is thick enough not to snag or move with the roller. - With the exception of the bows (mentioned below), it washes well. What I don't like: — The hinges on the edges are very fragile. While I love that they are there to hook the weight to keep it in place on the couch, I already had to attach two loops. But on the other hand I think the material as a whole is worth buying.
