Review on KMCA0 MISSINGLINK 10R KMC MISSINGLINK 10R by John Bailey

I installed a new KMC chain on my road bike in June. The included link worked perfectly, as did the one originally included in the chain. Squeeze them and they open and close easily. It seems that the 'newbies' were redesigned to create a market for the KMC missing link closing tool. I needed to replace a twisted link in my chain and thought I would do it with another missing link. I ordered a 6 pack. There was no way that two strong men and a boy could force the connection to close. After almost giving up on KMC and buying a Shimano chain, I ordered KMC pliers to close the link. Click. Did. Although the pliers get an A, I don't recommend carrying the missing link in a repair kit as you won't be able to close it without the pliers.
