I don't know why my transparent ones are different than the colored ones (I bought both). My cleaning tapes break during use or break during the day when in my hair. My colored straps are awesome and designed to be used over and over again. I feel like Transparency worked great in 2019 but then started to break in 2020 and is now well outside the return window. I had them less than 1 year and now they are useless. It's like they've gotten worse over time. I have planned that they will last me a few years for my daughter. Unfortunately there aren't any. Aggravating.
