This product is really well made. The lid is semi-rigid with a zippered inner compartment that curves nicely. Unfortunately, I had the opportunity to prove that the rain cover works perfectly and keeps everything dry in a heavy downpour. If you need a little more space, you can simply unzip the extension. Section and drag it higher to get more space. When you're finished with the extra space, the expandable zippers easily zip back up to keep things slick. With the straps on, it doesn't budge even at over 100km/h. I used it off-road on my 1200GS pictured above. in expanded mode and also on my F900R in normal size (not expanded) pictured above. It might seem a bit big for an F900R, but that's where it worked great, it was on my lower back. If you don't like that and have a smaller sport bike, you might want to consider the smaller Nelson Rigg Commuter. Good quality. Easy to use. Works well in all conditions. I recommend.
