My family and I have been using the Foxwell NT604 for about a year and while it is a very functional piece of equipment which has saved us countless unnecessary visits to the local mechanic it has always felt like a fairly unpolished product , a gadget that feels like it has the same genetic make-up as a cellphone from the early 2000s. It was clunky, bulky, and loaded slowly. The NT706, on the other hand, looks very modern. Yes, it's still quite slow to boot, which is a shortcoming I'd like to see properly addressed, but once the device is powered on, it's noticeably faster than my old model. With the NT604, I was afraid of selecting the wrong menu item, knowing I'd be stuck with a 30 second boot time before I could go back and fix my error, but the updated NT706 OS seems much more responsive. Touchscreen, making cumbersome button presses a thing of the past. The screen is big, bright, and crisp, and the icons are hard to miss. Even if you're not paying close attention, it's difficult to hit the wrong button. The new Wi-Fi update capability is a godsend. I hate fishing for cables to connect something like this to my computer and messing around with crappy, poorly written software, so a one-button update somewhere within reach of my home router is a breath of fresh air. Everything, I'm very impressed. The NT706 has all the features of my old Foxwells but the body is much more sophisticated and looks more modern than anything I've used before. Highly recommended.
