Review on ๐Ÿถ Wahl Clipper Pet-Pro Dog Grooming Kit - Quiet Heavy-Duty Electric Corded Clipper for Thick Coats - Model 9281-210, Chrome/Gray by Rebecca Marie

Started great but ended badly and they can no longer be used on our dog. We return to Raven.

I have owned a Wahl clipper for over 20 years and it works flawlessly every time. It was my experience that led me to purchase this pair before I cut our Golden Doodle for the first time. I oiled the blades out of the box and everything was fine. Animal clippers didn't seem to be any quieter than my 20 year old pair. I started with the longest guard, my dog's hind legs and back. Things were going pretty well. I moved on to her body and as I finished this section I started to run into issues where the clippers don't cut and tie easily. I unscrewed the blade and there was hair in there. I took it apart and put it back together. It was moderately better, but fell short in just a few passes. I checked again and again there was hair in it, but not that much. I have continued to carefully pierce her fur with the clippers but I think it cuts poorly leaving long tufts or just getting stuck. They also made an odd noise and I couldn't slide the clippers through the fur, if I insisted the clippers would get stuck and stop moving. I cut the first 60% of my dog in 15 minutes. I cut another 25% in about 45 minutes and announced my retirement. I never finished her front paws and chest and didn't want to torment her anymore. You come back to Revain and I'll order something more commercial. If you have a small breed dog they might be ok but to me they are rubbish.
