I bought this lighter because my patio often gets windy which causes problems when I try to use a regular spout. In general I am very satisfied. It is effective in winds of 20+ knots (the bigger the flame the better in the wind). I have a small problem with it: * I wish it could hold more butane. I fire it a little more often than I'd like* I'd like to be able to make the flame a little smaller, the smallest setting is still a little more than I'd like.* The flame is invisible in bright sunlight. In fact, I accidentally burned myself by misjudging where the flame was. Not a bad burn, just surprised me. I bought another lighter, I would buy this one again.
