Nice design, poor quality

The design of this case is actually quite interesting. Bits and a screwdriver slide into a nice compact case. It's supposed to be a push-and-push mechanism, holding the bits in place until you need them. In theory it would be great to carry this around in a bag as the bits and screwdriver are very compact. In practice the case arrived broken and the retention mechanism doesn't hold the tablet in place so it just slides out of the case - in fact it doesn't push fully into the case so it just stays open. The retention mechanism they use is a very old design that used to be very common on CD player covers - it's very prone to breakage. Attempting to close it simply pushes the cocking device out of the bottom of the sleeve. There's a soft cloth sleeve that can hold it all, but that seems to be secondary. The driver is held in the tray with too much holding power and due to its design there is not enough room to lift your finger to remove it - you almost need another tool to get the driver out. However, the bits sit very snugly in their recesses and are held in place by a magnet, making them secure yet easy to remove, which I think helps the bits remain magnetized to hold the screws. The screwdriver itself is very solid and the bits are high quality carbide - I tested them on a couple of heavy duty screws and they were free from any marks or signs of wear. Tool holders - they come in a thin disposable pouch. Some of them could be put in a cloth case. Pros: Sturdy bits and screwdrivers. Slim compact body. The magnets hold the bits in place. Mechanism (there is a good chance it will arrive broken) - Not a convenient way to store/carry tools
