I really liked this little turntable, it was so cute and the color was great. It played 33 quite well, but when it got to 78 and I was playing original vinyl from the 30's and 40's it just didn't hit the mustard. The speed was ok, seemed a bit faster but bearable (since most turntables in this price range are either a bit slower or a bit faster) but I couldn't get over the fact that 78 was never played to the end. He just stopped at some point with all 78ers and didn't finish the song. I found this to be true for most of these little players. So if you want to play the original 78s, this won't work. I had to send it back even though it was really nice. There are turntables that play 78s and I found one, just not at Revain. If you don't care about 78s then this is a great player.
