Review on πŸ”Š SOUTHSKY Audio Rush 5.1/2.1 Digital Sound Decoder Converter | Optical SPDIF, Coaxial to 5.1CH & 2.1CH Analog Audio (6RCA Output) by Durioki Cordaro

It worked fine for me

For my speaker setup I have a basic Logitech Z606 5.1. I used this to get the SPDIF output from my Samsung TV so I didn't have to use inferior speakers from the TV and multiple pairs of standard red/white RCA cables for my Logitech device. Of course I didn't want to spend a lot of money on new hardware if I already had speakers I wanted to use. Everything is just for my room so I don't need a loud, cinema quality setting that makes the windows rattle and this worked perfectly for me. The volume seems to be controlled by my Logitech Z606 and not by this adapter. Sometimes I notice small audio issues, but I have no way of verifying if the problem is related to the device, the speakers, or something funny with what I have on my PC that I'm using after changing the SPDIF port, which apparently was this TV went straight to my new computer. Although it wasn't a common problem to begin with. All in all, this little converter seems to do what it promises. I can't give 5 stars because I'm not sure how well it will hold up for the next few years. There seem to be half a dozen other offerings that look exactly the same but have a different logo printed on them. BUT! If you're looking for a cheap solution to boost your sound and you already have (or get) speakers with adjustable volume like the large number of kits/kits, it can be the difference between disappointment and satisfaction.
