Excellent charger at a very reasonable price. Went to Florida from Massachusetts for 3 weeks in Feb 2017 and left the charger connected to the car battery terminals. When I came back after a couple of snowstorms, the car started like I had never been away. I highly recommend this product. Please note that, as in my case, if your "cigarette lighter" port is not activated when the car is off, you will need to connect the cables directly to the battery. I haven't had any problems with my Acura. I just routed the cables through the driver's side window and was able to close the door without damaging it (due to the flexibility of the rubber strip). The same goes for the hood. I just slipped them under the top corner of the hood and was able to snap the hood open without damaging the cable. The charger's suction cups held it to the inside of the windshield to soak up the sun and charge my battery efficiently. Much cheaper than a service call and/or a new battery.
