Review on 📏 Mitutoyo 293 340 30 Micrometer Resolution: Detailed Specifications and Features by Jared Coleman

This Mitutoyo micrometer set is without a doubt one of the best sets you can buy at this level. Measurements are extremely consistent and accurate as long as you keep your faces clean. I have owned this set for 3 years now and the battery still holds a charge. Of course, I only use it occasionally, but it's nice to know that you have a quality tool ready to use. The DRO is very handy and the inch/mm conversion is a big plus as micrometers are almost always analog, not calipers. through my experience. They didn't pay much attention to the analogue dial as it came out of the box uncalibrated. One thing I would like is a vernier scale on the sleeve, as a backup in case the battery dies and you don't have a spare. Sometimes I like to use vernier scales just for fun. Update (1/27/18): The battery recently died after just over 3 years of moderate use.
