We are a small family owned donut company in the Chicago area. For 9 years we have been making donuts at our on-site stand and delivering them hot and fresh to our customers in bags with various sugar and spice toppings. In 2020, that business model was no longer applicable, so we switched from cooking on-site to cooking off-site, packaging 6 donut servings in airtight take-out containers (like this one) to sell at the farmers market. We've used these containers and found them to be the perfect size for our 6 treats, but there's a catch. At the beginning of using these containers we often had a surplus of aluminum base with no lid for them. We have found that the plastic lids will stick together and therefore will have an uneven match between the base and the lids. Since then we separate the caps very carefully, but often there are not 50 caps in each sealed pack. Therefore, we classify this purchase as "normal". If we could buy a stock of caps to level out these bumps that would be ideal. to match our remaining 70+ bases we stock. I hope this helps others who may be using this product.
