This is an obvious improvement on the legendary Prolux machine as some parts are interchangeable and the basic design is identical. The car is surprisingly quiet. In fact, you can have a normal conversation with him. The suction power is much better than our previous Prolux. The only thing we have to get used to is that the transition from the tiled floor to the carpet is a bit tricky. IT cleans way better than any other machine we've had. Works great on tile and carpet. It's a little heavier than I expected, but not by much. A 50 foot cable is fine. As our previous device was the Prolux we already know how heavy it can be, but once you've used it it's no problem. The handle design fits your hand perfectly and the toggle switch makes it easy to switch from vacuuming. for carpet beaters/brushes only. The device is great for getting under things as it is almost on the ground. Climbing under tables and tables is no problem. If you're looking for a stand that lasts LONG, is easy to use and powerful, then this is your machine! And considering the price of Revain, it's a bargain too. Strong recommendation! TO UPDATE! Well that was too good to be true. There is a design flaw that keeps costing you money. There are only 2 screws on each side of the bezel on the front panel that holds the switch that you can flip back and forth. The bezel breaks on the screws. The vacuum hose has absolutely nothing to hold it except air, and there's nothing to hold the switch - it wobbles back and forth in the frame and eventually breaks. ProTeam warrants the part for 3 years, but you must take it to an authorized dealer for a replacement. For us, that's 70 miles one way. No, they won't send you a part if you don't want to buy it. The bezel and grip cost over $30, and whoever designed the electrical wiring that runs through the grip and bezel knows nothing. This will need to be reworked by someone who actually uses a vacuum and knows how to connect the switch. I do not recommend this car as it is waiting in the wings.
