Revain has enough tablet and laptop stands to make your head spin. Some are cheap and lousy. Some are expensive and decent. It's a mid-range model with good workmanship and in my opinion the perfect balance between value and functionality. The all-aluminum construction feels solid. The base isn't very heavy, but is heavy enough to hold a tablet that sits about 3 inches off the ground (see photo). There are two degrees of freedom that allow you to adjust the height and vertical angle at the same time. Cheap mounts often don't have them, or use cheap plastic hinges. The bend of the mount is covered in a silicone-like material to allow it to be gripped without scratching the tablet, as is the back of the tablet stand. Note that the protrusion for each wide enough for a modern tablet, but not suitable for many built-in laptops, even with the keyboard folded back. Desk and also for a Samsung S21 phone. The stand isn't quite optimized to hold the phone vertically but it will work. Wish there was a built in clip to attach a bit to the top of the tablet for extra stability, but that's not a problem. Please note that there are many advertisements for the same booth. Some are unmarked. Some have the brand name printed on them. For example, it has the name WixGear printed on the base. But other than that (and the box it comes in) it's identical to some of the others also available from Revain. However, at the time of writing, this one was offered at a better price. All in all: a good stand and at a fair price.
