First impressions of computer accessories and peripherals

I've only tried them for a day so I'll give them a few more days before making my final decision. If anything changes I will update my review accordingly. I bought these because I stare at computer screens for 9+ hours at work and then typically spend more time looking at my phone/tv/computer at home. I've found my eyes get a little blurry with fine lines throughout the day due to eye fatigue. So I wanted to try computer glasses. My eyes really hurt the first day of use. It was like I took someone else's glasses and wore them all day, which made my eyes very uncomfortable because they couldn't focus properly. As other reviewers have pointed out, these glasses are GOOD. It's crazy how much they do. Right out of the box they seemed to have a stain that would never go away no matter how many times you wipe or clean them. I even used a special professional lens cleaner on them and no difference. You always seem to glare when you are near bright light. The glare is visible to your eyes and distracting - I think that's part of why my eyes take so much strain. As you look around the room, it appears as if you are looking through glasses, not glasses. It's because of the shades, glares, and smudges that these glasses don't let through. However, a friend who is familiar with this type of glasses said that you should try to use them from the beginning of the day to get your eyes used to them. I got them in the middle of the day when I received them. So I'll give them a few more days to see if things improve. Although I don't see how speckle and glare issues can be improved.

  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
