The drives were ok, they work fine as I expected. IMNSHO, a great concept, but both the product and the vendor's infrastructure, especially their tech. Support and the availability of solutions for its use - it's just "In the absence", it's "In the wind". If you're just buying it to have a 1TB hard drive, it works and probably deserves a 4-star rating. However, if you really expected to be able to use the POGO function, this segment deserves a rating of 1.55 stars or less. Looks nice, but it's holding a 5TB hard drive hostage that I bought specifically for "dedicated storage" [which would probably be nice if I could figure out how to access it and use it for its intended purpose can. was conceived at the time of purchase but has not yet done so and I have had it for a long time. Every time I try to use POGO he insists there is nothing I can do until I pay him $29.95 for a service that came with the hardware purchase (1TB hard drive). Nothing works in POGO, well maybe this should be said more conservatively and cautiously as I can't get it to work and I can't seem to find any interaction with tech support people to have a dialogue that would allow me to get it to get to work. working as intended [without being ripped off, for $60.00 I bought two (2) of these (each said to come with a license for their POGO software as I planned to use it on two (2) computers and no questions asked wanted to ask because of the number of licenses] and as a reward for being honest about the license numbers, if I don't pay them $29.95 x2 I seem to have two (2x1TB hard drives) that are virtually worthless for the purpose they were bought and for which there was an implied guarantee of its suitability for what it was purchased for (at least in my hands and in the absence of product technical support that would allow the end user to enter any code that might be required for it at the POGO venue without working the extra fees stated as included in the purchase price is something i could really use use the drive(s) at the POGO location as intended) . Each reader must draw their own individual conclusions, and IMHO your further action must be based on the facts presented, to the extent that they are verifiable, in my case even under the strict requirements of "scientific method". ". I can only report facts as I see them, and only each individual consumer can determine what weight they should have in their acquisition matrix.
