In my experience, Canon inks keep everything running smoothly.

I only use Canon inks in our Canon printers. The main reason for this is that in the past when I used third party ink I had to take my printers in for maintenance and cleaning every year or so until they were unusable. I have a printer from 2004 that has never had to be serviced or cleaned and our second printer which is now two years old continues to work with no problems. Also, in my experience, third-party inks fade faster than Canon inks. Yes, they are too expensive. Isn't that all?
