I bought it on the recommendation of another user to use this PC as a mobile hotspot. I have similar problems in the apartment I moved to. There is a Wi-Fi dead zone in the middle of my office space, preventing me from bringing the inside of my desk into the office. The placement of the modem and the line of sight to the office appear to be causing WiFi issues in two rooms of the house. With a hotspot, I don't have to share the very long password to the original WiFi with others. fi connection. This PC will not disappoint you! First, it looks great. The finish of the case makes it a beautiful accessory in the living room. Setup was easy and took less than an hour. I also installed other software I needed to test applications designed for my professional needs. I placed it to provide a transition between the invisible modem and my office space. The extended antenna and body shape allow for vertical or horizontal placement. For two consecutive days, I connected to my office VPN using a mobile hotspot and attended multiple calls and meetings. So far, so good. However, Office programs like Outlook and OneDrive issue "restricted connection" warnings and won't connect unless you allow your email and files to sync. 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM is enough for most users, and it's more than just a stupid one-trick WiFi extender. Tight VNC allows me to connect remotely from my main computer to do other things. I'll be keeping an eye on PC over the next few weeks though to see how things are going.
