I wanted a good tablet car mount for my iPad (8th gen with GPS) and/or Samsung A7 tablet. Both tablets have a similar weight and dimensions. This tablet holder could hold them pretty securely. I have two of these installed on my Camry and Highlander. The suction cup isn't a gel type, but due to the way it's installed, the cup is pressed against the window, so the suction is only used to hold the tablet holder in place. So I think how this tablet holder is placed/mounted will be crucial for its stable/safe operation. The long neck is very strong and I appreciate the durable material it's made of. I'm sure without it this holder will shake like crazy at high speed. Jerky a little, but very little depending on road conditions. I didn't encounter any problems during my long ride (700 miles) a few days ago.
