This gas cap is perfect for my needs. I have a 1978 MGB that I converted to a Ford 5.0 liter engine and in doing so I removed the old MGB fuel bleed canisters and fuel bleed valve. I have read that the easiest way to vent a fuel tank is to replace the fuel filler neck with a 62-69 MGB filler neck as it has a built in vent and then needs a vented gas cap to vent properly. I've searched the web and although this cap says it's not for MGB, I found a cross-link on one of the MGB forums that said it would. It fits and it's a vented lid with a lock, just what I needed. My gas tank is now properly vented and I have a cap to be on the safe side. Works perfect.
