One of our favorite pastimes is kite flying. We currently have about 20 different kites ranging from single line, stunt, power to multi line. There are usually two main aspects to consider when choosing a kite: 1. Functionality - most kites in this price range that I have looked at failed to maintain position or altitude. Due to poor design, some of them couldn't even take off. The only reason I took the risk and bought this kite is because I actually saw it on someone else and was very impressed with its performance. I would say that 99% of kites in this price range are literally worthless.2. Durability - Most kites under $45 are very fragile and typically last around 2-3 days of use. We've used this kite 3 times already and it hasn't shown any signs of failure yet. An amazing quality product at a fraction of the price of any other comparable kite.
