I gave my first personal testimony this week and didn't want to give my witness my laptop to use zoom so I ordered this 4k monitor at a lightning deal. That was great. Right now it was mirroring my zoom computer and I was checking everything for the witness. He didn't need to know how to download/open exhibits. I didn't have to worry about the witness hacking into my private programs or choking on spilling liquids or crumbs on my laptop. For the camera, I used a cheap camera on a tripod in front of the witness, which was also connected to my Zoom computer. The only thing I would wish for in the future is a longer cable from my laptop to this monitor so there is more space between us and the witness.
