Review on Autel MaxiCOM MK808: 2021 Newest OBD2 Car Diagnostic Scanner with 25+ Maintenance Functions and All System Diagnosis by Justin Metz

Pretty complete for use on my SUV. I had TPMS flashing on my dash although that doesn't affect anything or disable remote start. It just irritates me VERY much when constant blinking draws attention to him. I was able to use this scanner to get into the TPMS menu and reset the options needed to close the code. No more annoying flashing. If I had to take the car to the dealer now, it would cost me two hundred and eighty dollars. I know this because I called and over the phone requested an estimate from our local dealer or as they are better known Theft. And that was just for a simple code reset. Having an OBD reader just makes sense and can clear codes and find codes that tell me what's wrong with my SUV. I'll be the one to decide if I can solve the problem the code presents or if I should go to the store (never steal). We have some very good stores that are reasonably priced. So with just one use, it almost paid for itself by cleaning up some code. It is well made and can be recognized at a glance. The screen is bright and easily visible in the sun, but better in the garage. The instructions were easy to read and understand and the pictures helped me immediately with assembly and operation. It has a built-in rechargeable battery, so you can take it anywhere, anytime and go about your business. It can also be powered by the OBD port. The carry case has plenty of foam plastic to protect the diagnostic scanner in the event of a fall. It might be in the back of a truck but I hid it in a safe place as I need it to function when needed. I'm very happy with the quality and functionality of the tool and time and use will show its longevity so I'll rush to post an update if I have to, but for now it's working great for us.
