The best thing about this product in my opinion was that it allowed me as an admin of our network system to be able to view what users were doing while using their computers. It also gave us easy access when we needed to do some troubleshooting with certain programs or servers. There really wasn't much dislike from any part of iis. We used it mainly because they are just easier than other products out there at the time which helped us get through projects quicker and more efficiently. This has been replaced by something called Active Directory but still allows you to use its functions such as locking down computer accounts so only those who have permission can log into them etc. So far no issues. As stated above I am not sure if active directory does exactly everything like i did before but will look up how well it works compared to old version afterwards.
