My green-cheeked kennel immediately warmed to this play area on the roof of his cage, which is quite rare. Of course, all birds are different. It was pretty easy to put together but the only thing I would change is the glue. This will definitely work for now, but I highly recommend you use a heavier glue. The grooves are deep enough to prevent the glue from squeezing out unless you use too much. That's the only thing I would change. I don't trust the swing bar but it just has to be pulled up. With some DIY adjustments, it fits my bird perfectly.
