Very light. Hard plastic Made in China Very shiny and beautiful to look at Very fine brush. The handle is not essential and difficult to grasp. I wanted to like it but not impressed. too light and the bristles are so far apart, i have fine straight hair and it pulls when the hair gets caught on the bottom of the brush.
